Robert in School

Robert started school on Mar. 9th at Tulsa Welding School. He is liking it and got to weld on Tues. Anyway, he is already getting slack from his boss. His boss, Craig, sat him down about 2-3 months ago and told Robert that Land Rover is trying to make him a service advisor but probably won't be in the near future. Craig knows we barely make it as is and told Robert that he would understand if he found something else and would support him. Well, Robert decided he would like to be a welder. So we jumped the hoops to get him in the school. When we decided to do this we agreed to not say anything, but it got out to his co- workers and most of them are happy for him or just don't care either way. But when Craig found out he asked Robert why... Robert said he was just trying to get a trade as a backup- you know just in case. He would like to continue with Land Rover but after 2 years of promises with no deliveries, he wants to move on. It just makes me so mad that he has to deal with this. Craig should be happy Robert is trying to better himself. On top of it, Craig refuses to sit down and talk about it. He just goes off of rumors. It just makes Robert not like going to work but he loves his job so....
